This Veteran Never Imagined He Would Be Doing This Again… But He Did. And It’s Amazing.
Soldiers and civilians alike were shocked by the shooting.
Bob, a military veteran of more than 20 years, only lives 10 minutes away from Fort Hood.
He was inspired to do something for the victims…
At the church near his house, he planted flags in the yard.
Each flag was for a person that was injured.
Then, he gathered his supplies.
And began building.
He decided to honor the fallen soldiers in the best way he knew how.
He built them crosses.
He took them to the church yard and put them in the ground.
Then, he painted them.
This isn’t the first time Bob created a memorial. In 2009, during the last fatal shooting at Fort Hood, he created a monument to those injured.
