Jailbreaking has recently been judged to be legal by the U.S. government. I thought maybe I should celebrate by releasing a tutorial on how to jailbreak any iOS 4.0 device with Limera1n. Limera1n is the most recent jailbreaking tool released by Geohot which jailbreaks all iOS 4.0 devices including the iPhone 4. Limera1n has been released very recently and is very hard to find online. If anyone has more links to a legit Limera1n download please post them in comments. Lets start:

Jailbreak iOS 4 Device:

Step 1:

Download Limera1n: http://fileml.com/29m693

Step 2:

Plug in the device. Run limera1n.exe and click on lime colored drop. The Terms & Conditions window will pop up, you can just click agree them. Read them if you wish to.

Step 3:

A final window pops up, just click start. Progress bar will show progress and you’ll be done.

Once done you will get a message asking you to consider donations, for further development. If possible please help them out.

Now you should have a jailbroken iPhone with our beloved Cydia. Go ahead, get them apps.
