StarCraft II did not cost $100 Million
by Atul On July 25th,2010Hey so I just heard that StarCraft II apparently did not cost $100 Million, you might be wondering who told me, well, it’s the darn interwebz again keeps me updated to every thing that’s happening around the world, but that story is for another post so I’ll get on with this one. Kotaku has now revealed that WSJ had mixed up their reports and it was WOW that cost $100 million for maintenance and development.
Oh man, that’s not a surprise at all since WOW has like 10 million registered members, but StarCraft 2 although being its unsuccessful cousin is treated as a national sport in Korea. GT5 apparently, if it ever releases, would have cost Sony $60 million and GTA 5 scored a cool $100 million for development costs.
StarCraft 2 will be releasing June 27, 2010 which also happens to be the day when Korea’s economy starts plummeting.
