Gabe Newell Receives the Pioneer Award at GDC 10
by Atul On March 14th,2010Gabe Newell also referred to as the father of gaming by PC gamers and also allegedly responsible for delaying Half-Life 2: Episode 3 received the PIONEER AWARD at GDC 2010. During his speech, Gabe discussed the importance of motion gaming in the future and also how customer centric a company should be referring to the brilliant work his team has done to make steam, the go-to place to download digital game content. He also talked about involving the fans while making announcements and showed the blue screen of death with a hidden code.
